Things to Know About Ordering

PAYMENT METHODS OFFERED
Credit cards are accepted via PayPal processing and secured through the shopping cart. You don’t need to have a PayPal account. You can choose to just pay with a credit card. We don’t take credit card orders over the phone for security reasons, but if you have an order that cannot be processed through our shopping cart, please let us know via the Contact page. Note: We do not ship C.O.D.

ORDER CHANGES
Once your order has been submitted online, you may make a change by submitting an email alerting us to the change within 6 hours of submission.

SHIPPING OPTIONS
When you check out, you’ll have a chance to select from the offered shipping options based on the weight of the packaged order. Sometimes there will only be one shipping option. Select one of the shipping options (if only one option, select it) and click “submit” to proceed to payment information.

CANADIAN ORDERS  If your order is to be shipped to Canada, we will send it from the U.S. by the shipping option you have selected. Delivery times are not guaranteed and may take days longer than expected. Customers are responsible for all duties and taxes. Packages to Canada by First Class Mail takes much longer to arrive than packages going by Priority Mail.

OVERSEAS ORDERS/SHIPMENTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE
For an unknown amount of time, we are no longer accepting orders from overseas countries. Packages are being left in holding facilities for long periods of time due to operator service suspension or unavailability of transportation. Additional problems with U.S. packages making it in to some countries compounds the problem which has proved to be all too much to surmount.

DELIVERY TIME for U.S. CUSTOMERS
We are shipping from Missouri which works out well for fast ship times in all directions around the USA. Typically we have a very short turnaround time of 24 hours for shipment of orders from Beneficial Botanicals, though sometimes there are unexpected delays such as peak seasonal order volume that may add an additional amount of time, excluding weekends and holidays.

Mail transit time depends on the service selected, holiday delays, and weekends figured into the delivery time. You can expect to receive an automated shipment confirmation with tracking number via email when we have printed the postage label for your order.

TRACKING & DELIVERY
An automated email with tracking will be sent to the email address you provide. All delivered orders shown in the tracking history do not qualify for re-shipment consideration. If you do not receive an automated email with a tracking number, please let us know so we can provide the information for your order.

REFUSING A PACKAGE
Please be aware that if you refuse a shipped package containing an order which you have placed, compensation for the returned items will not be given. Express verbal permission for return is required. (see Returns & Store Credit)

UNCLAIMED OR UN-DELIVERABLE PACKAGES
Please be aware that if you do not have a mail receptacle that is large enough for a package and USPS is unable to leave the package at your door, they will retain the package for 15 days to be claimed. We cannot be responsible for unclaimed or un-deliverable packages and you will not be able to receive a refund. If you wish to have us resend your order, you will be invoiced in advance to pay the shipping charges needed to reship a package.

DAMAGED PACKAGES
As of 2023, the US Postal System has implemented a new ruling that the recipient must take the damaged package to a local post office within 30 days for inspection before postal insurance on your order can be claimed. This is especially hard on our customers who don’t live a convenient mile from a local post office, but we have no choice except to adhere to their requirements. If this happens, you may want to put in a new order to be filled while you are waiting on your postal claim as we are not able to offer refunds without compensation. We are unhappy about this unprecedented policy and always strive to ensure that your order is packed well enough to handle the rough treatment it may receive.

PRODUCT TASTE & SMELL
Returns will not be accepted for personal objections to the taste or smell of tinctures and extracts. Due to differences in seasonal plant harvests, changes in product filtering, and individual health conditions affecting taste and smell, we cannot guarantee tinctures will have a consistent odor or flavor throughout repeat ordering. However, you can be assured that the continuity of quality in our fresh products will remain unchanged.

BACK ORDERS
We do our best to keep all of our items in stock for reasonable turnaround time on your order, however, back orders do occur. Back-ordered items are shipped as soon as they are restocked, with no additional shipping charges.

SALES TAX
Sales tax is automatically applied only to orders with a Missouri shipping address.

RETURNS & STORE CREDIT
Books and videos are not accepted for return.  Other items may be returned for store credit and subject to approvals by permission through email within 7 business days of the order delivery date.  The item(s) must be in new and unopened condition with an unbroken seal.  To return a product for store credit, you will need to pay the return shipping. Original shipping amounts are not included in credits. Once we receive the returned item(s) you will be given a coupon code by email which can be used on your next order to redeem your store credit.

REFUND REQUESTS RELATING TO EFFECTIVENESS
Returns or refunds will not be considered for reason of effectiveness. Due to numerous variables of individual health and/or drug and vitamin interactions that may nullify the effects of a plant tincture, the objective evaluation of whether a product “is working” is not always certain. Beneficial Botanicals recommends that you work with a healthcare professional such as a naturopath to determine if a plant tincture will be helpful for you.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS
You may make a request to cancel an order if it has not yet shipped.  Refunds are made to the original payment source.  PayPal transaction fees are non-refundable.

OVER PAYMENTS & CREDITS
If you have an over payment or credit due to your account, a code voucher will be provided for you to apply on your next order.
